Jamaica Me Crazy is a buzzing restaurant and bar situated at the top end of vibrant Roodebloem Road in Woodstock, which is one of Cape Town’s oldest suburbs.  The upstairs balcony has sweeping views of the harbour and is the perfect spot to chill with friends while enjoying the great food and tropical cocktails. The downstairs area and bar is warm and cozy with a roaring log fire burning in the winter months. Service is friendly and attentive with staff willing to go that extra mile.

 

Jamaica Me Crazy offers delicious, healthy home-style island cooking. All the chicken is free-range, homemade walnut veggie burgers and the best home made beef burgers in Cape Town. Caribbean specialties include Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Curried Goat, Jamaican Patties, Pineapple BBQ ribs and Chicken and Chorizo Jambalaya. Vegetarians are well catered for; try the Mo’bay (Jamaican slang for Montego Bay) mushrooms, Roast Veg Pasta salad or Trinidad Roti to name but few.

 

Meat lovers will enjoy the perfectly matured grain fed rump steak, which is cut to order, and the jerk rump espetada. The menu also includes a wide selection of pizzas and salads. 

The famous Cocktail Happy Hour from 6pm-7pm Monday - Thursday is not to be missed, extended to ALL DAY on Saturdays and from 3pm - 6pm on Sundays. A selected range of cocktails are only R17. Favourites include the ever-popular Green Iguana, One Love and Strawberry Daiquiri. There are 5 draught beers on tap including the popular Van Hunks Pumpkin Ale aswell as a selection of bottled draugths all from Micro-Breweries in and around Cape Town.
